WEDDING CEREMONY MYTH BUSTING
Hot off the press is this super piece from the County Wedding Events team that helps shine a light on one of the biggest wedding trends…
With so many fabulous wedding trends, it would be remis of me not to shout about one of the biggest in recent years - celebrant led wedding ceremonies!
Yes, that’s right. Hitched UK have named celebrant led wedding ceremonies as their Number 1 wedding trend. They say…
“There’s been a 49% increase in search volume for ‘celebrant weddings’ in the past year with 880 monthly searches now taking place, and traffic to our article about celebrant-led weddings has increased by an incredible 157%, showing a clear trend for unique wedding ceremonies.
Couples are seeking to personalise their wedding ceremonies - the most important part of their wedding day - and have them really tailored to their relationship and history together.”
And I can totally understand why….
Did you know… When you book your favourite wedding venue, you have a choice about the type of ceremony you would like to have on your Wedding Day.
When it comes to planning a wedding, the ceremony is really the most important part. Yes, we love the food and drink, the dancing and the catching up with everyone too of course…
But the moment where you both declare your love and commitment to each other in front of your closest family and friends is why all your nearest and dearest have gathered, and what really counts.
So let’s make sure it does!
If you would like a tailor-made, memorable and fun ceremony, with personal vows and promises and a symbolic ritual or two, then you’re in the right place. There are some wonderful wedding ceremony rituals including a handfasting, The Lover’s Cup and the Unity Candle. Check out these ones and more here on my blog.
My couples head to the Register Office in advance of their Wedding Day to secure all the legalities of marriage in a popular and simple 2+2 ceremony - leaving us to work together and have lots of fun creating a bespoke and personal wedding ceremony that really stands out from any other!
And… venues REALLY don’t mind who conducts your ceremony on your Wedding Day - they will be THRILLED to host you either way.
Sound good? Great! Call me for a no obligation chat to find out more, or have a read of this article in County Wedding Magazine .
And if you’d like to meet up in person, then you’ll find me at the County Wedding Events Signature Wedding Showcase at Ascot Racecourse on April 7th and at the wonderful Rackleys Barn on April 14th.
Exciting times ahead!
