In the press… Hurray! Award Winning Wedding Celebrant!
Wow! It really has been a roller coaster of a few months. What with all the festivities, award nominations and meeting so many lovely newly engaged couples, I’ve also been pretty surprised by some wonderful support from my local Berkshire and Oxfordshire press.
Big shout outs to BBC Radio Berkshire and BBC Radio Oxfordshire for interviewing me not once, but twice, on the Kirsten O’Brien morning show and Bridgitte Tetteh’s afternoon slot. They even included snippets in the news bulletins! Perhaps you’re here now because you’re an avid listener? Well welcome, however you came to be here. And huge congratulations if you are celebrating your engagement and thinking about a celebrant-led wedding ceremony!
My local paper the Henley Standard has also been a massive support - always so good at championing local no matter what your endeavour - with two in-depth articles and most recently a DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD in its lifestyle magazine Henley Life. The ever informative Round & About magazine also gave me a special mention!
Why? Well, it’s because I’ve won an award for my work as a wedding celebrant across Berkshire and Oxfordshire. Hurray! The Wedding Industry Awards are perhaps the most coveted in the wedding industry because they are so rigorous. So to be nominated and voted for by my couples, and then to actually win, is just a dream come true! And…. should fill you with lots of confidence too! They’ve each taken the time to provide detailed feedback about our experience together and that in itself is quite the achievement when we are all so time poor and busy. So last and certainly not least, a MASSIVE thank you to all of my couples. Together we’ve created and enjoyed some very special ceremonies and now they live on with this brilliant recognition. AMAZING!
